TFS A head
I know that this has been covered before but what can these heads do? Trick Flow A-460 – PN# TFS-21002, 5441B001, and 5451B001. What are there limits? I am beginning to get wishy washy on my ride. I figure out what I want to do. Dang choices.

18-bolt deal will have you singing
the TFS-5441B001 is the standard bolt pattern each , bare casting
the TFS-5451B001 is the 18 bolt deal each, bare casting
and i believe that the 21002 # is an old casting deal

power baby, power. No really I read more of the rules. 4150 carb only, no SV1 Pro-Systems carbs or dAMBEST carbs, or 4150 throttle body or 90mm throttle body, mufflers required.
What kind of deck thickness do these bad boys have? On a race only high compressions combo what kind of power is capable on a motor up to 530" and 530-575" (100lb weight penalty)? I can run a single stage .078 nitrous pill too.
This is a local true street class. 275dr

I am planning my personal car now which will not be quite as fast but hopefully cheaper to run/maintain.
My brother and I have the turbo car together and he runs the class above this one. That car is our primary focus. Our turbo motor made 675hp NA. We are running with an 88mm reducer in our 106mm turbo now so I would think that the 1600hp number Bruno threw out would be pretty fair. Later in the year we have a couple of races that we will pull the reducer so 2000hp+ is expected. We have also thought about selling/trading our other turbo (precision 101mm) for a true 94mm to run a couple SSO races in the NMRA.
on another note. Our problems the other day was confirmed to be a bad ignition box AND failing coil. We are planting cotton now so the next run will be this weekend. We keep missing races so run time is really low for us right now. We changed the ignition out and it runs much better now. Spools pretty quickly. I hope everything works because we have races on 7 out of the next 9 weekends.
