Windy Hollow
Is the track under water yet? We've got around 6 to 8 inches here. A bunch of my neighbor's houses are sitting in water at least to floor level. Their crawl spaces are flooded for sure.

I was in B.G. ....Nashville...Owensboro and all points between today. Looks wet to me........looks like the Gasper River north of b.G. could get over the the Natcher.
What's this gotta do with Windy?

Guys,
This is NOT true! We got another gully washer rain last night (5-3/4-10) and I personally drove out to Windy Hollow this morning to look at the dragstrip. Be advised that the dragstrip, nor the shutdown area, nor the staging lanes, nor the pit roads are under water! They are NOT even close to being under water. Furthermore the pit areas are NOT under water.
As many of you know, the pits are grass and the ground is certainly saturated with rain water, but I am sure the grass pit area will be dried out by the time of the Ford Bash.

Yeah, I couldn't find that on Butcher's site anyway. Glad to hear.

Ya Charlie,
People who don't know their A$$ from a hole in the ground can post any kind of BS they want to post on their website and some people will believe it, and spread that BAD information, without even checkin' things out.
I know, You know, it happens all the time on here but, mostly with misinformation about the big block Ford engine, lol.

Re: Windy Hollow
Thanks for the update Uncle Charlie! I've been praying for you folks out there, that you wouldn't be affected by the floods. If things did get worse at Windy Hollow while on the ride out, I'd make sure I buy a big inner tube, and float around the track and drink some beers, smoking cigars for two days.
