Made a short video of my F100 today. Thought I would be breaking in the motor but have a fuel leak at the carb to fix.

x2 what Jim said lol!

Tim you will get it.
The last time I freshened up my bbf we had a fuel leak on the first startup. There was a pinhole in the ss braided line spraying gas on the headers.
It took me a couple extra days to get it fixed and fired up but it was worth the wait.

Lol yea, I didn't think about that till after the fact. Too worried about fixing the fuel line at the carb. Now its not a nice kink in it. (Over tightened trying to get it to stop leaking) I think I can reuse it tho. Threads are still good all the way around.

Heres a video of the engine break in. Its is 22 min long.

H.264 (65MB) WMV (50MB)
Video of my F100 OldRedFord_460_BreakIn

I tried to not fill the camera with my back side. But now you end up with my dad walking into view with no shirt on. I cant win.
When I shut the motor down about three minutes into the video it is because I saw something leaking a bit under the truck. I freaked thinking it was oil. It was not, it was transmission fluid. I tried to tighten up a clamp a bit, grabbed a drip pan and continued on. I will just buy new lines from NPD and be done with it before I put it on the road.
