Cometic MLS head gaskets

I'm finally finishing my new pump gas street motor. It's a 4.5" bore A460 block that has the 18 bolt head bosses at the deck surface. I'm using a set first generation 10 bolt A460 heads with 2.350" intakes 'rubbed on' by Charley that I bought from Lem ten! years ago. I've been very happy with the Cometic's and will use the .045 compressed thickness to keep us at 11:1 static CR. The question, which version of the BBF gasket, 18 bolt or conventional 10 bolt?

You may use the 10 bolt gaskets with the 10 bolt heads......they are cheaper that the 18 bolt versions.

You know I over think things. Any issue with using the 18 bolt in a pinch? I want to buy a spare set for both engines. Any feedback on the MLS header gaskets? I need two pair of the 2.25's for A460's.

In this application either style would work for you.

If you want to standardize your spares just keep plenty of the 18 bolt style.

I am looking for some .040 head gaskets. The bore is 4.650 and the heads are 10 bolt. Can you help me with this?
