So if I when from the motorsprots gasket to a .027 gasket how much volume would that decrease. Still wanting to put the new heads on with out losing to much compression

Cometic head gaskets
We bought an A-460 block and it looks like they copper o ringed the cylinders. Can you use a cometic head gasket to get a good seal without having the block decked? Seems like nothing is ever easy, oh, but, that is racing isn't it?

Would JB Weld work for that?? What is the price for a pair of 4.465 bore, .051 thickness cometics?
Thanks

Re: Cometic MLS head gaskets
Actually I have repaird a Cadillac HT4100 block with it, but there is an easy enough fix with wire and a mill that would allow the deck surface to be properly surfaced for the cometics. IMHO
