Timing C-headed 598
What would be a good ball-park timing number for a C-head 598 on 2 stages. 93N in plate, 32N in fogger. The tuneup is fat right now, but looking to clean it up. Current timing is 18* total. Will that be too much once there is a clean tune in the motor?

Re: Timing C-headed 598
I would get the plate tune real close first to establish that timing right, then start safe on the second and sneak up on that tuneup. Before yo know it you'll be dead on and loving it. And yes combo, fuel, etc, etc would help. I was merely explaining the process i would use.
