What engine coolant?
What restrictions, if any are there on the engine coolant used in a drag car? Can I run antifreeze at a NHRA or other drag strip?
What is the best coolant to run withan aluminum head 545?

On a drag car you shouldn't have any antifreeze because it is an absolute B!%@# for them to clean up when it leaks. That stuff can get you in some serious trouble.

Plain WATER is the best coolant however, it will boil at 212° at sea level so, somehow raising the boiling tyemperature of the coolant should be done.
Anti Freeze which is Ethelene Glycol is a NO-NO at any NHRA event and not a good idea anywhere else either. (It is almost impossible to clean-up).
Raising the boiling temp of the coolant can be accomplished with using about 25% PROPOLENE GLYCOL based anti freeze, (which is of course more expensive), added to the water.
RACING anti freeze IS Propolene Glycol but, it is also available at your local parts store under the brand name of SIERA.

Anti Freeze is blended with Electrolosis controling chemicals.
You're question was indicating this was for drag strip use .. a tablespoon of baking soda will help comtrol the electrolosis if that is your major concern.
