Cool 80's T-Bird P/S car - Wadda ya think?
I ran across this site a couple of years ago. http://www.theoldone.com/prostock-T-Bird/
He used some cool air managment under the car and a real cool truss type chassis with a center truss and the driver's compartment on the side.
Any thoughts???
He also designs cylinder heads - Boss 429 P/S heads and now Hondoooo stuff.

I also see several discrepancies too he said that the engine was one and in fact I see 3 or 4 different engines in those pictures....

Mock-up engines maybe?? Not sure....
I was more looking at the chassis design. It looks really strong with that back bone truss. The side to side weight distribution might need some work!
The air tunnel under the car sounds pretty cool too. If they were grinding the rockers with no wing, that is quite an accomplishment!!

I don't think the side-to-side weight distribution is really that big a deal since in a door car the driver's weight is always going to be offset to the left side anyway (well...in the "states" anyway ) regardless of whether the extra bars are used on the right side of the car or not. I would be more worried about the chassis's actual working geometry vs it's available chassis flex since the right/left sides of the chassis aren't symmetrical.
You probably couldn't build a similar chassis today and be SFI "door car" legal, hard to tell even using the slower NHRA/IHRA rule book general regs roll cage specs.
But the offset chassis layout probably could be usable in the left hand steer Roadsters you see in the Super Gas/Super Comp classes (as long as you used a P/M style full double frame rail from 4-link to mid plate). This is because a lot of the SG/SC Roadsters now days have really narrow bodies. And the SFI specs for a left drive Roadster (SFI 10.4) allow you to leave out a TON of the passenger side bars depending on how some other bars are placed.
I wonder how much more there is to the Glidden/ENDYN story since there is always two sides.

That is some very good points Dave. The rear shot of the chassis looks like it would be very rigid, but I can't see the whole thing.
It sure sounds like some bad blood between ol' Bob and this guy.
