Dan,
The car is looking good. I am serious about the front wheels, you want them just send me your address and they are yours. T-bird robin egg blue light special ............ Wink I will never end up using them and you look like you could they are yours bud. I seem to remember you sending me a spare set of roller lifters for the Galaxie, so it's my turn to return the favor.

Dan,

KY Jelly told me about the wall kissing deal. I am sorry to hear about it. Kepp up the good work, and if you need anything I might have, let me know.

I can't get the BG400 pump to quit leaking...It's leaking out of the adjustable pressure return..Looks like it's leaking around the o-ring ,but it may be cracked...anybody got a junk pump I could get one off of? The o-ring is real thick,,,nothing I've got is close ,I'll try the parts house in the morning

Ok Dan-o,
It looks fine.....but you must press on. The gates open early Thursday AM......
Here is the bait. No "Bird".....= No Beer = No Ice Cream! So you gotta get it done.
Primer will be fine. That gives it character. Plus, maybe people will pay attention to MY car this year, if yours is in prime!
I know you will make it. I will wait outside the gate for you.

Dan, just take the bypass valve off and put a gate valve in the line somewhere. Adjust the pressure with the lever to where you want it, then remove the lever to keep from accidently bumping it. That is what I did with mine to get the pressure and flow I wanted.

I got the bypass fixed and put it back on ,ran it for a few minutes . Everything was fine took a break and came back ,it was leaking around shaft seal!! I'm going to send it back for a rebuild. I don't have time to run all over the place trying to find a seal ,so I ordered a new pump.Suppose to be here tomorrow. 4am and I'm gonna go block sand this thing and shoot another coat of primer, hopefully have color on it this afternoon?? cheers king

Dan – Good move buying a new one. My BG 400 started leaking a couple months back. I shipped it back and they rebuild it, put it back on and it leaked from the same dang place. I just broke down and ordered me a new Aeromotive pump after that. Car is coming around nicely!
