Windy Hollow Race Report
Okay guys, here's the deal. Phillip Oakley had a special race tonight called the High Rollers Race. It was for 16 fast racecars, and a big entry fee. Out of 16 entered there were five Fords, those were Phillip himself, Robbie Keugel, Bobby Small, Bobby Shrewsberry, and George Keown. After the first round there were four Fords. When it got to the finals, it was George Keown in the black '79 Ford pick-up truck who had run 5.60's all night long going up against Bobby Small who had run low 4.50's all night long in his dragster.
George's engine is a 598 TFS A-460 headed, TFS 2X4 tunnel ram 1100+ Hp piece. Bobby's engine is a 638 CID Pro-Filer 205 headed American Racecars dragster with a single 1450cfm Quick fuel carb and is a 1200+ Hp piece. George won and Bobby red-lighted with a -.001. Congratulations George Many of you have seen both of these cars race at the Ford Bash, or at other tracks such as Beech Bend, Chandler, Indy, U.S. 60 Dragway, Gateway and so on. Side note; race proven technology, as used in both of these engines,,,,,from B. F. Evans Raceparts.

Re: Windy Hollow Race Report
What I like about the deal is they're both friends of mine and I'm friends with their dads also. In fact George's dad and Bobby's dad were there last night and we all had a good time visiting. I have some sweat equity in both engines so it was a win-win situation for me. Furthermore they decided to split the money before the finals, so it was all good.
George and Carl have a new convertor in and it appears to be working. The truck was running mid 5.60's and pulling the biggest wheelstands I've ever seen it pull in my life. Phillip was spraying the track with traction compound before every round of the High Rollers race and it was a hooking bitch! Speaking of Phillip he was driving that new car he just bought from David Cole and it ran like a 4.75 in the first round.
Bobby Small was shaking the tires and getting loose out there in mid-track and still ran a 4.49 on nothing but motor. He's got a bottle on the car, but has never used it. Lawes Mayfield built that engine and he chewed Bobby's azz and told him to take the thing off the car and he'd run quicker just being lighter.
I'm going back tonight for some more, Kristina Lawyer is coming in to race and they're having a Quick 8 show!

That black pick 'em truck is hauling. Good job to all of the BBF guys out there. It's good to see them flying and knocking out the competition.
Was Lem's "Fun Deal" engine in the dragster that Phillip drove last night?

Yes it is. Phillip and Bobby Small are on Q-16 I believe, and then Bobby Shrewberry and Robbie K. are on VP113.
