I took a new F-150 home for a few days and this thing is a beast! I'm going to try and get one for this weekend so I can tow my buddy's 28ft in closed trailer with his race car in it to Milan for the Super Ford day!
Everything I have read about that new gas engine looks impressive. If I could afford to buy new, it's what I would wait for and buy.

I like the cummins idea, I had a 93 a few years back and have to agree damn good engine only problem is it's in a Dodge..... Transmissions are junk, bodys are scrap and we won't get into the electronics......

Well, ended up with a truck.... Just got home with it..... Went out looking and threw a guy a low ball number that I thought he'd never take..... Well he took it???? Called me at 7:30 and said come get it.... So I'm now the proud daddy of a brandy dandy new 2010 extended cab f150 4x2 5.4 6 speed pimped out on 20" wheels, Power everything, 10000# trailer package, sirus radio, microsoft linked high tech bs and my 6.0 2006 120k mile that I ran the balls off has a new home, I was having bad dreams after brunos encounter a few months ago.... Didn't care to have a bill like that...... Being it was way out of warranty.

Re: Thinking about buying a new truck
I want an Excursion with the V10 Gasser. After using Randal's to pull my car to the '09 Bash, I was impressed. We were running down the Interstate 75-80 mph and got 12 mpg. It pulled like my car and trailer wasn't even back there, I was always looking in the rear view to make sure it was still there
