wtb a set of a429 aluminum heads

Looking for a set of ready to bolt on a429 heads for around a $1000.00.

Damon said he's got a set that he will pull of his car for $1K per head, give me your address

the only head I know you can get that cheap is a Pro Comp junk..... I have a set of a429's but will not even talk to you for that....... Good Luck......

Jeff,it's gonna be hard to find a GOOD set for that kind of money. Watch what you buy and know what you are buying. If you find a set for a cheap price,ask the guy if you can have them checked out real good. You can get something that can't be fixed for less than a mint. Good Luck

I bought mine from a guy in 2002 for $1,000.00 for the pair complete ready to run still in the Ford boxes.I got lucky he had a set ported that he was keeping,the ones he sold me were on a complete engine he bought.He didn't have a use for them,keep looking and good luck sometimes you never know.

I thought if lem was selling the new style heads for $1600.00, the old style heads would be cheaper. But I guess thats what I get for thinking.

Jeff those ole a429s are still pretty good heads......they can make some pretty good hp.... but still not that cheap.....

X2 what Randy said... Probable easier to find some scj's that some one needs to dump or buy a new set and not take a chance.

I bought a hurt set cheap off snowball a few months back and have well over a thou in them getting the back in shape to use.
