Re: Results from Bowling Green?
Had a GREAT time with you guys at the NMRA World Finals (As usual) however I wish the outcome could have been different.
I couldn’t cut a good light all weekend and it cost me the race in the first round. Had no problem when practicing but the car just wouldn’t work. I may need to readjust my transbrake release (Open it up) where I adjusted it in when I was going red on the pro tree and or move my leave rpm back up to make the car react quicker. Or it could just be me?
Sunday morning we had some killer air and I ran record ET’s in the 1/8 and ¼. 5.89 at 118mph and 9.26 at 144mph.
That 5.39 must have been a typo LOL! Or it could be we just wanted to stir the pot Bahahahahaha……
Anyway, thanks Chuck for helping me at the starting line and thanks to everyone that stopped by to chat. We look forward to this event every year. Kind of like a mini-BBF Bash.
BIG thanks to Blake for loaning me his trailer for the weekend. I owe you big time my friend.
BTW, I finally sold my 40 foot trailer yesterday… now I just have to find the time to pick up Keith’s 28 foot tag.

I had a great time didn't when the 11second true street this year. That will teach me to detune my car to win something and then it gets even slower than what I planed .! LOL. I think the NMRA should have a heads up class for the true street cars and not just the three back to back runs to get an average.

I can assure you guys I didn't go to the dragstrip to get a steak, but considering the main event wasn't worth a shit I though I'd try the "track food". Well it wasn't worth a shit neither! Wait a minute, what am I saying, I've had the diarrhea all week from that "frog sandwich", I guess it was good for something!

Good God Dave, you've told us more than I want to know! Hell boy, when are you ever going to learn? Capt. Jack, Lem, Dave and myself had a really good steak at the Texas Roadhouse that Sunday night.

I was thinking about driving to Norwalk for some of that cheap ice cream but I was afraid it'd melt before I got home.

Lem,Dan and Harold tried to eat it all when they were there,I can't figure if it was because it was so good,or it was so cheap.

Well you haven't heard anything yet! I just received a phone call from an old friend (not relative to age, the other). We discussed my "Dragstrip Steak". I explained I wasn't exaggerating, it looked like a dead frog lying on the ground and didn't taste much better! I went on to explain I looked at every concession stand for candy bars, no such items! I finally bought a hot dog just to get the taste out of my mouth!
My friend on the phone then explained in so many words about an incident of his, many years ago. A piece of Limburgers cheese found it's way into his refrigerator. After a few days the smell was so bad he threw it out the back door only to have his dog run after it and swallow it whole! After a few minutes the dog started licking it's ass! I suppose to rid the taste of the cheese! Tonight that didn't sound like the thing to do, but Sunday, if I had thought of it I may have tried it!
Now Charlie, is that more than you wanted to know?
Dave.

Rick,
Yes, I need to come pay you a visit. How about next week sometime?
Livermoron Dave,
As much as I hate to say this, but I have seen you licking your ass several times. Embarasses the hell out of me when you do, so that's why I don't take you out in public anymore. : Now get off the internet and go get that FE engine built You're wasting time

They have a heads up race @ the first NMRA event in Florida for the quickest 16 True Street racers.
We had a great time at Beech Bend Friday and Sat. Got to meet more people from this board.
Sunday weather was a bummer....for the first time we left early. No regrets there.

Two gay guys sitting on a park bench. A dog walks toward them and stops, then starts licking his "red thing". One gay guy says to the other, "man, I wish I could do that". The other gay guy replies, "yeah, but I'd be afraid he'd bite me".
Anywhere near? Pretty close!
