camshaft bolt

Does anybody know what the tap size is for Comp Cams Solid Roller 460 camshaft, i want to run a chase in a cam i have to make sure all the threads are clean.

It could be 3/8 fine or coarse
or
7/16 fine or coarse. Just depends on what was spec'd when it was ordered. Off the shelf would be 3/8. My last two Comp rollers were 7/16 be request. One coarse, one fine. Just try some bolts to see which one fits.
