Not to be rude, but why? Is it a leverage type thing? Or a "less movement as possible" type thing?richter69 wrote:Longer the better, especially with W's..........

I wont be able to run if there is no W tire class, unless I can barrow some 10.5's and get it hooking. Don't know yet.richter69 wrote:Yor kid may find a new HeRo....... Never know I might cash in my wolf tickets and come bust that ass...........

Re: How long is too long ?
A big power/violent/fast/wheelstand-ish/etc/etc combo with somewhat limited suspension adjustment and/or without a Davis traction control device really needs as long a wheelie bar as is allowed by the class it's racing in. A longer bar will flex a little more helping to lessen the chance of unloading a violent car vs the greater chance with a short wheelie bar.
On the other hand, two of the faster ADRL/TOPMA cars (Frankie Taylor & Gaylen Smith) are now running shorter carbon fiber wheelie bars. The increasing switch in these cars to the converter driven LencoDrives and/or Bruno-Lenco setups & the Davis traction box creates less need for the super long wheelie bars.
A car's total combo always plays a part in what is needed.
