Gas Prices?????

Does anyone else see the gas prices jumping way up in their area? It has increased from .95 to 1.10 per liter here (about .55/gallon). NOT impressed!!

Bill the price has increased around 10 cents a gallon here in the past week. $2.86 to $2.96.
Let me guess, they are going to blame it on the switch to winter blend fuels.

Lol, yeah that's it. It was down not too bad all summer but as soon as labor day weekend hit, up they went.

It seems they jack it way up, then everyone goes crazy so they drop it a bit and everyone shuts up. The net result is they still got it higher. I guess they have a pretty captive customer though....

Ive noticed they do that after election time... people vote their pocket book, and that shit would cause some waves just before elections

2.71 here, better than the 4 dollar plus it was here years back.

3.06 for diesel

Just filled my truck about 10 mins ago it was $2.77 a gallon you can get here for $2.70 at murphy's at walmart but it is the bend and don't get any milage out of it.On a average tank of gas I can get about 40 more miles out of the 2.77 gas and that only $1.12more a fill up.

Wow, the diesel is spendy where you guys are!! It is within about 1-2 cents of the gas price here.

it always goes up when the weather cools off.that way they drive the price of heating your home up too.double dicken!diesel prices stay a few cents over premium gas here.

Bill it was $1.14.9/L here last weekend when i filled up on my way to go shopping in "the big city". Was .99.6/L in Sudbury when i filled up to come back. Makes no sense as Sudbury's only 3 and a half hours away. Also cant seem to get a hotel room for under $100 bucks here anymore either. Even a roach motel.

I just paid $2.99 a gallon here in Norhtheast,Ohio on Saturday,they use every little excuse they can to raise prices.

Wow, that's a crazy diff there.

Our town used to have the highest gas prices for miles around. It was like that for a few years then folks really got pissed and started writing letters in the paper and making alot of noise. Funny thing, prices went down and now folks come here for the better price.

Its hard to run the nozzel and hold your ankles at the same time eh?? Wow that is a big price.

Our truck holds 136 liters (36 gallons) so it costs a bit for a fill!!

2.99 - 3.02 here in upstate NY for the cheap stuff and the best part is everytime you buy a small engine of some sort which varies from a weedeater to a personal watercraft...you must use "stabil" as a regular item to avoid damage to the carbs and such....so I'm told, and all the stores around here have tons of that stuff in stock

I can say at least on my Toro zero turn when I use pump gas and shut it off, it sounds like a 12 ga. going off.......if I use any left over race fuel (C-12) it does not do it at all....

It's gone up 23 cents/gallon in the last two weeks here in NE Michigan. We had relatively high prices here even before the latest increases, $2.86/gallon. Part of the increase here in the US is due to the Federal Reserve printing money in an effort to keep interest rates low. The result of this is that the US dollar is worth less, and everything we buy from foreign suppliers costs more! And oil is the #1 import so the cost increase shows up immediately! Hopefully they don't go overboard and throw our economy into another tailspin like 2008-2009.

I found diesel for 2.92/gal yesterday, but if was a find because everyone else was 3.05-3.09 everywhere else.

2.99.9 to 3.09.9 in Saratoga Springs, New York. The general public is giving barely a whimper about this time around - go figure!

Gas is 2.99 for reg unleaded and diesel is 3.29. And I just read in the paper this morning that our newly elected (republican)governor is proposing a .25 cent fuel tax to pay for roads after he takes office. There's your (we need a change) FTA

Nope, pretty much on par now. Only a couple of cents diff.

We buy our gas by the liter and there are 3.79 liters in a US Gallon.
