the best way to fry turkey is start with a big frozen bird and get your mother in law to drop it in the pot. Very Happy and be sure and give her plenty of room while she does it! Twisted Evil

Were frying ours...do one every year. I cant hardly choke down a roasted bird anymore since I started frying them. Oh and we do fry ours inside Very Happy

Thats the point Harold,the can of beer won't explode until the bird is done cooking and when it explodes you just pick it out of the oven. (no slicing the turkey) Razz

Add me to the list of deep fried turkey fans. I'd never bake a bird after having deep fried. I usually use a mixture of sweet white wine (I like Oliver brand) and Italian dressing to inject it with. I usually inject it the day before to get the best flavor.

That's the way my boys does his, except he uses "mad-dog20-20", Laughing seriosly he orders some kind of stuff, from down in Tennessee, that he injects them with, very good, he does two every year, plus my wife bakes a large one for the kids.

Fried, smoked, oven roasted, or grilled I will make myself sick on turkey as long as I get cornbread dressing and gibblet gravy to wash it down with. cheers Sleep
