FORD Motorsports Valve cover Gaskets????

What the Hell make these worth $70-$90. I would rather just buy a bunch of Fel-pro's since I have 2 motor to tend to.

Lem has the double gasket with a steel layer between them..I thought they $30 to $40 range? They're really good ones. I've been using the same ones on my Tbird for about 3 years. They've been off many times. I've got a new set hangin there just in case I ever need them.Call Lem ,he'll take care of you!!

I agree Ace,My rubber gaskets don't leak anyway. I can spend that money elsewhere.

Dont waste the money on the high dollar Moroso gaskets, they are lucky to last a season. The cork ones dont like alky so well...........honestly the SCE gaskets are the best I have used, and they are cheap.

What are sce gaskets, the ones Dan mentioned are great if you don't over tighten.

seriously they are priced so high. i haven't check mine so maybe i'll scout for other product brands of valve cover gasket sets, also haven't seen the SCE brand yet but would worth a swing at it. thanks for the information here.

Cometic is now offering valve cover gaskets. Looks like they are going to be the real deal. I put the 1st set we got on the "fun" 547" engine that went in the Morgan Oakley dragster. So far so good .......they are made of a real tough matterial, don't leak and the bolts stay tight.

"Real" ...do you mean covers with a thick stiff flange?

The tall alum Ford Racing covers are awesome, after 10 years of service one does need to have them surfaced a tad to make them flat again...........good for another 10.

yes ... these canton fab deals are horrible .... i guess you pay for what you get ...... im sure the ford motorsporrt covers are better
