If Obama had baled um out I would never by another Ford. At least ford had the nuts and guts to fight it's way out instead of begging for a dam hand out.................... Chevy=welfare free hand out. I don't care what they say, they ain't paid back crap........................
No company is to big to go under..................... Should of let them go under.

What gets me is showing this to the public with an F150 pulling a loaded? trailer. Many racers have lost their race operation and the tow vehicle due to the load taking over. I have pulled my 3000# car plus trailer, fuel, tools parts etc with a 87 Ranger 2.9 with 5 speed. It would pull it but plan your stops at least a mile ahead and hope no 15 mph wind or emergency situation came up. IOW it was dangerous! Also had a 88 F150 with factory tow package, springs, brakes, gearing, stabilizer bars front and rear, etc. It did OK untill the emergency situation arose, I saved it but there was a pyramid on the seat when I got stopped. I can only attribute it to my years of round tracking and years of being a truck driver. With thanks to a friend who was behind me, saw what was happening, blocked traffic to keep them from running up on me till I got it whoaed down, along with lots of luck that night.
Now with this being said, there are those who will see this ad and not knowing any better or any experience try to tow an overloaded trailer with an F150 like a bat out of hell and kill themselves as well as others, (maybe yours or mine). And then you have those who will say, "But I have used a 1/2 ton to pull my setup and never had any problems!"
I'm leary of two water cooled turbos durability and their effect on a 3.5 engine. Mostly concerened about the cost of repairs and maintenance after warranty b/c that is the only way I will ever own one is when it is well used.No way I could, (or would) pay that kind of money for a pickup.

On some of the videos they show the Ford spankin the ass of dodge and chebby V8's with a V6 pulling loaded trailers up hill. If it can really do that I'm impressed.

Too much trailer (big enclosed) and not enough pickup (1/2 ton Chevrolet) is exactly what killed the owner of our local drag strip.
Just because you can, does not mean you should.
