Yep, I have a 4ga battery cable running from the solenoid to the large post of the starter.

It seems like there isn't anything connected to either the "S" or "R" post on the starter.

I see that the "S" terminal needs to somehow be connected. Does anything connect to the "R" post?
If the jumper is NOT going from the "S" terminal to the large stud, how do I remedy this?

Get some copper and make one or make a short piece of wire with to round terminal ends. It doesn't need to be large wire because it just engages the starter. The copper piece is best because it will handle heat better from the headers etc. I would try and call any starter rebuilders I am sure they would have one. I am sure someone like Lem could get them as well.

Awesome, I'm going to go ahead and try that out.
What's odd is that it has the brass jumper but it goes from the solenoid and seems as if it is grounded to the starter itself through a weld. I don't know, I'm doing this off of memory because I'm unable to get to the starter at this time. At least I know that the "S" terminal needs power from the fender solenoid though.
I take it the "R" post does not need to be connected to anything?
