Back from the dead.
Been awhile since I've been on the forum missed it here, see nothings really changed.
Got clobbered with one major setback after another. Pretty much burrows in debt now going to be selling a ton of stuff here soon. Looks like my drag days may be over. I'll post more about it when I feel better. Just giving a shout to my favorite forum in the world!
Matt.

Don't you mean they are temporarily on hold, remember they are possessions and you can always get them back later. Keep your head up man, everything will work out in the long run.Maddmattmustangs wrote: Looks like my drag days may be over

I was racing in my early 20 to mid 20s I was into drag racing with my mustangs 1st 71 then my 69 had to get out of it. Until I started going back to the track with a friend with his car got the fever again and built my ranger after 15 years. Now work has slowed way down and it just sitting. Just hold your head up and do the best as you can that all we can do in time like thisand pray that everything will work out.

Really sorry to hear that Matt. There are guys racing with hand controls, so don't let that stop you from racing!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Matt. It's good that there are some young guys like you on here to keep the torch going, so to say. Keep your chin up and keep fighting. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Trust me guys I'm not going down without one hell of a fight. regardless if I end up paralyzed or not. Maybe I'll try the hand control idea if things get bad. After all the ladies do say I'm good with my hands

Dang man, I've been wondering where you've been. This BEYOND sucks, I hope everything is okay and turns out great for you. I would hate to see you or ANYONE for that matter go through that. I can only hope and pray you will be fine, God has to take care of the rest.

Re: Back from the dead.
Matt I do not pray, I have but I'm not one for doing it. But tonight I made sure to put in some good words with the big guns up stairs, hopefully he answers them. I don't even pray for myself, I need to start thanking God for everything he has given me more often.

Re: Back from the dead.
I was getting some x rays done and they found a tumor on my spine. I'm hoping this goes ok seeing as how I wrecked my furbird Saturday in Conway
Now I'm both depressed and sick
Thanks for the support guys. I'm going to discuss treatment options in a bit.

Well my options aren't promising. Gonna be a real rough one for me. But I have a shot at making it so I'm going to take it. I just hope I make it through stronger than before

Re: Back from the dead.
Hey Matt, sorry to hear about your situation. I believe I am older than you so I am going to through out some advice. As bad as it looks remember the possibility for a positive outcome is there and you need to focus on that. There have been numerous times throughout our life (the wife and I) where something seemed a lot worse then it ended up being. Just try to stay positive and while realizing the negative focus on the positive. My brother in-law lived 22 years with a brain tumor when he wasn't supposed to make it. My parents neighbor lived 14 years when the doctors gave him 6 weeks so there is always a chance things will turn out ok. I really feel for you and don't want to see you beat yourself up to bad over it.
