My brother is having surgery monday

He's going to have surgery monday morning at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center to remove a malignant brain tumor,then he'll have to have chemo and radiation treatments. Not great news ,but alot better than it could be. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. God bless you all,Dan-O

Haven't heard from Dan, was hoping he would call.

I just got home ,his surgery went well ,but the prognosis was the worst he could recieve. They got about 75% of the tumor out .It is malignant and grade 4. He's givin 2 to 3 months to live without chemo and radiation. Or 14 to 15 months to live with chemo and radiation. So ,I'm sure my other brother and I will be busy for awhile taking care of him. 6 weeks of radiation 5 times a week ,then chemo 1 week a month for 6 months. I'd like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. He's got a rough road ahead of him now.I know a few of you have been through this,I've been through it with my Dad 4 years ago and I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.Thanks again guys and gals..Dan-O

We are still with you Dan, and you know mamma, she sends her love, and prayers, if we can help, just let us know. . . keep a positive outlook, the man above works in mysterious ways.

My Mom passed away when I was 17 w/cancer,then my brother,and another sister. It's a bad deal for all involved. We will keep praying for a miracle Dan,sounds like he needs one.

Dan, sorry to hear this bad news! Be the best brother that you can be! We here will still be praying for him!

Gonna Pray for him tonight, I hope he can get better. Ever think about taking him to a cancer specialist? It sucks for everyone, was so close to losing a family member not long ago. Its tough to deal with, I wish him the best of luck.
