BBF Bash Chicken Fry
It's been a tradition for everyone to meet up behind the Super 8 Saturday afternoon/evening for the Chicken Fry & Grill. But since the track will be "ours" all weekend, would you guys rather do it at Windy Hollow?(If Phillip is OK with this idea)

Yes. I'd prefer the track. We can maybe do the crawfish boil at the same time.

Gfry LOL!
IMO we would have more room at the track but again we would need to clear it with Flip. Based on what I saw last year, I think we are outgrowing the Super 8 parking lot
But it's all up to you guys, whatever works best for the majority.
OT: Tracy told me "If you can't find me at the RV after you make a pass, I'll be at Pennsylvania Avenue"

Might be set to do that on Friday afternoon. I know they'll keep on ice until Friday. Not so sure about Saturday.
This'll also give us two evenings of eating and hanging out as a gang of die hard blue bleeders!!!

Re: BBF Bash Chicken Fry
This is what I'd like to see;
1. Thursday night Texas Roadhouse get together at around 8:15 - 8:30.
2. Friday evening at the dragstrip, John and Leroy Bozelle's crawfish/shrimp boil.
3. Saturday evening at the dragstrip, Gordy and family's chicken fry.
Sounds like some gooooood eating to me

My smoker will hold about 4 or 5 decent sized chickens or parts of them too. I think I've had about 50 drumsticks in there before, and they are goood!!

We've been averaging about 100lbs. But the last 2 years we had a little left over and I hate to see it go to waste. Mike Stevens and I have been talking about him possibly bringing some shrimp this year. So if he does I'll cut down the crawfish. I think more people will eat the shrimp than the crawfish anyway. We'll be upping the amount of fixins' for sure. Those seem to go the fastest. So we'll double up on the sausage, corn, potatoes, etc...

Re: BBF Bash Chicken Fry
This is not chicken but I have way more venison than we can ever eat.I'll be happy to bring all you want,if some of you have some good ways to grill it up.It's good meat done by a local processer that I have used for yrs. the ones I keep for us are shot out of of our soybean fields. They eat soybeans in the summer and corn/sweetfeed with the cows in the winter.I have cubesteak, tenderloin and hamburger.I also have sausage but I'll only share a little of it.Just let me know.
I would cook but my car has a thing about being in Ky.It always has to show out and turn raceday into work day for me. Ward
