the guys around here are running filled blocks and pumping ice water in the cyl heads only..............works great on the blower, turbo and spray assisted cars also......whatbumper ran their turbo deal on Q16 this way.
you gotta carry a shitload of ice, or have an ice machine in the trailer...........but it works lol.

20 years ago the nascar guys wre pumping chilled water into the engine. Cool heads/manifold + thin and /or hot oil = HP.

Open heads. We will see what happens. I have some advice from my customer Chuck Ford and my EFI guy about cooling on alky. We will see if it works.
