Check your ring pack
Guy's,This is just a reminder to check your new ring packs AND bearings for that matter. To make sure that what,s in the package is the right parts.
The reason i'm bringing this up is if I would have been more observant it would have saved me alot of work and money on my build. When I received my Total Seal rings w/my Diamond pistons, I Cut the rings for each idividual cylinder and never gave the oil rings a second thought. They had sent the wrong spacer rings w/the right expander ring. The spacers was too short buy 0.400 ,and it was like there was no oil rings at all on the pistons.
So Lem ordered me a new set from AKERLY & Childs and the first thing I did was opened the box and checked all the rings.
So if anything I learned a lesson, to take nothing for granted and check everything before installing. There's always a first time for everything
