d9 block
OK guys need your input I've got a d9 block doing a 545, 4.5 stroke 6.8 rods. Would I be better off putting 4 bolt mains in or is that just a waste of time and money on the d9 block, or just stay with two bolt mains, planning on a 125 shot also on race days mostly street car, THANKS DAVE
Forgot to tell you this a 10-1 pistons, with low 700's lift cam roller, trickflow429-460heads, with a 850 demon and I do plan on using it

Re: d9 block
4 bolt caps are a good idea but if it's a street car i would'nt worry about it.JMO

Re: d9 block
staying under 750ish hp (even more in the right application) the factory caps are fine as long as your tune is good. Caps or straps don't hurt if the budget can stand it.
