It appears to be sinking at the end of the clip, were they able to beach it before it did? Hell of a ride btw!

that area of Firebird raceway is the shut down area. As you seen there are jet ski's to pick the boat's up and drag them over to the trailers...
I'm sure the jet ski got ahold of him and got the boat over to the ramp...
No where to beach the boats around the shut down area...

I don't think the boat was taking on an enormous amount of water, although it appeared that way from the camera. I imagine the driver is up and walking or leaning back toward the left rear to inspect damage. However, if the shaft separated from the gearbox and exited the hull there will be a big leak. Assuming the driver remained seated, the boat's attitude should have been rising equally at the front. The hydro version has a bit more "60's attitude than most floaters, and with the larger amount of weight at the rear, it will transom drop first. I must say, it appeared a very smooth ride, all things considered!
