The winner of Big Block Naturally Aspirated was Gary Satterlee in a 90's Mustang. ...anyone know about the motor in it? I hope it was a Ford.

Jay Brown's and his Galaxie did amazing...running mid-9's all week in something that heavy is astonishing...even with 2 camshafts! Very Happy
(The guy he ((barely)) beat was also a 90's Mustang...but with a BBC...hence my first question)

Yeah JB did a damn good job...his last pass was a 9.49 @ 143mph I believe ! thank God he didnt have the spring and rocker problems from last year..But did have a bout with the starter tho..altho fixed with a new one..

I liked the comment made by one of the Official's from hotrod..they asked what the Gal was running..and Jay said mid 9's...and the guy says OH..your running the 1/8th mile then..LMAO!! Jay just laughed and walked off..

I wonder too tho how much weight Jay had to give up to that chev powerd Stang tho ?

Yeah, pretty annoying you can't find at least a motor spec on the *winner* of one of the categories of Drag Week.

Yeah you'll play hell trying to find the "Specs" on Jay Browns build... other than it a cammer with Old school looking injection..Only a few people may know his build but probably not every thing//Bill Coons, Dave Shoe, Maybe his Trunk Monkey Joel.. But even "I" dont think they know all the specs.. Its just the way he likes to keep it all away from the Competition... Twisted Evil

He did the same thing 2 years ago with he a 510" Turboed FE...In his Mach 1 Stang.. That ran a 9.38 I believe @ 151mph...and won his class in the power adder class..
