I did the same thing once ,only I used my 30-06 rifle to put my old mower out of it's or my misery ,the sucker was always a bitch to start!! so after getting it started for the last time I finished mowing with it and parked on the driveway, running at full song put a round through it right on the sparkplug , not more pulling my gut's out to get it started!!! My kid's thought it was neat!!

Me and my brother would tie the govnor open then start them up and see how long they would sing, until Mom caught us one day and used a willow switch on us. Sure was fun while it lasted though.Probably cost that guy bout ten bucks in ammo to kill his.
