BACK FROM ANOTHER TEST & TUNE ... VIDEO'S
you'll have to excuse the videos, my wife is WAAAYYY better at taking video than me! she could not come with us cause she has strep throat, so I took the videos,
1st pass: leaned out the pill to a 140 with 6.5lbs, in the tires, & changed plug gap to .35 from .80: 60' @ 1.262, 660' @ 5.66 w/122 mph
( air was real good 99.1 ADR, @ 367ft)
https://s1164.photobucket.com/albums/q573/69bluehotrod/?action=view¤t=100_9987.mp4
2nd pass 135 pill back in, went to 6.75lbs in tires: 60' @ 1.259, 660' @ 5.65
https://s1164.photobucket.com/albums/q573/69bluehotrod/?action=view¤t=100_9989.mp4
3rd pass 130 pill in, 7 lbs in tires & 6800 shift chip from a 6600: 60' @1.288, 660 @ 5.80
(It did NOT like that extra 200 rpm nor the 7lbs in the tires)
https://s1164.photobucket.com/albums/q573/69bluehotrod/?action=view¤t=100_9990.mp
4th pass: went back to 135 pill , opened up the gap on the plugs to .60 from .35, 6600 shift cip back in & 6.5 lbs in the tires
60' @ 1.25, 660' @ 5.60. ( seems the sweet spot is 6600rpm, with a 135 pill & 6.5 lbs in the tires)
https://s1164.photobucket.com/albums/q573/69bluehotrod/?action=view¤t=100_9991.mp4
got M-5 coming next week so we will have a new curve to deal with....lol

Love the car and the videos. .060 plug gap seems huge! Any trouble keeping lit? That is a big bypass pill too, have you tried smaller nozzles with a smaller pill? May or may not make a difference, seems like it might be in between sweet spots on the fuel maybe.
Car looks and runs great! Thanks for posting the videos.

TJ,
I have a set of .35's for nozzel's & was gonna try them but ran out of time saturday, we are gonna switch to M-5 this coming week so I'm thinking I will be dealing with a richer set up or so I've been told.
As far as the plug gap we have been running them at .80, I closed them up to .35 for the 2nd & 3rd runs, seemed not to help so I opened them up to .60 we have a set of Nolegy wires & coil on this car & they are the only wires I've ever seen that require a ground for each wire.

I had a set some years back if I didn't hook the ground to them they would light you up plus it would skip like crazy
