It will take some work on the DOVE-C's to get that and it will cost some $$$ especialy if you can't do the work your self.
You need to look at $$$ for the work vs getting some out of the Box SCJ Aluminum heads. I'm thinking that you'll find that by the time you get all the parts, machine work and porting work done, you won't be far off the cost of a set of Ford Racing heads.
I know thats not what you want to hear, but for a trypical fox body and 10.0 index you'll need to be in the 675-700hp range to give your self a little margin for weather and track conditions. and that get alot easier with good heads to start with.

Re: Dove C heads?
With D0VES it's more time than money and what you have the ability to do yourself. 2.19/1.76 valves work well, but plan on a lot of time in the porting, or money if you need them done start to finish by someone else. We USC Comp stuff on my D0VEs pretty standard stuff. Your cam will dictate what you will need. If Lem is doing the cam he will be able to hook you up with the rest of the stuff your gonna need.

Re: Dove C heads?
Both, plus the intake manifold will need the same level of attention to meet your goals. The port work will have to be very, very, good to meet your goals. It won't be a gring a little here, and there deal.bigjohn2007 wrote:did u port your heads and if so just the exhaust side or what?
