fuel pump filter.
I have an A2000 pump with a 74 micron prefilter and a 10 micron outlet filter. How close can the outlet filter be to the pump? I'm intending to use a -10 swivel coupler. The filter is a decent sized Canton unit. I'm also using the pump bypass returning to the tank.

The Aeromotive kit for fox bodies tells you to mount the inlet and outlet filters directly on each side of the pump, so I guess it doesn't matter. Mounting the outlet filter closer to the carb will protect the carb better from possible trash coming from a fuel line that might start to deteriorate on the inside.

I'm going to run it like this. I do like the idea of the filter closer to the carb though.
