A460 exhaust port
Is it good to gasket match the a460 exhaust port? The gasket port is pretty big.

I don't use gaskets,but any gasket or header flange should be clear of any obstruction imo.

I may be asking this wrong or im miss understanding.
Upon porting is it good that the dia. of the exhaust port be matched to the gasket dia.?

my outside port size stayed the same diameter,so large square exh. port bbc should match up,but like I said I don't use a gasket.(red hi temp silicone)

the bowl and with in a inch or so of the valve is where the majority of flow gains ar at, gasket matching an exhaust isn't necessary IMO.
You just need to make sure nothing protrudes into or blocks the port.
