The stall
i sent my converter into PTC to be freshen and a new clutch they called me today to tell me whats up with it. the clutch is burnt and it is around 5000 stall its a Art carr they sold it to me as a 3700 stall it allways seem loose having it tighten up to 3800 to 4000 no wonder they went out of business.

they went out of business because they got rid of everyone that worked there that knew what they were doing. all the last stuff made was all that quality. PTC will set you straight.

well i got my converter back friday and put it in this morning have lockup. so i will be senting the billet one back to PTC to see what they can find they worked on it twice and cant seem to find the problem with it. its a 9 1/2" art carr billet lockup but lockup doesnt work. Kenny said he will look at it again something is leaking in the lockup circuit in the converter. because the other converter he sent me works find it is also a art carr 9 1/2" but not billet hope to make 2 legs of the power tour before going to the track to try out the new stall

If they can't figure it out give us a call 903-486-7292. We have fixed a few of those units.

Abiline Texas, hummm any connection to Redneck? I got my C-4 and converter from Redneck, both have worked good.

One of the former employees and all of their old equipment he purchased at bank auction plus a lot of state of the art equipment technology. Changed the converter design to be better, last longer and be more consistent. We work hard to keep the racers at the track and not worry about their transmissions/converters. Michael just wants to add another option out there for racers and anyone else needing transmission related services.
