Amzoil compressor oil in transmission?

Putting the 4.33 back in, its what i have had in the car for 10 years until this winter when i put the 86 in.

We'll see if it hurts the 60' numbers or not................

You must have a short tire huh Jon...? I put 4.88's in my truck, and it runs out perfect in the 1/4, crossing the traps @ 7400, shifting @ 7200... But, I'm running a 32" tire... Just curious...

I ran a 31 tire, just put a set of pheonix 31.25's on, ordered a set of 4.56 gears, should make it about perfect. Needs to be enough to go about 145 mph, it went 143 @ 7100 with the c4, but the converter was looser.

fuel pumps on the way back, time i shipped it there and they charged for the parts its another 100 bucks..............oh well I have spare parts now and the knowledge to fix it if it fails again lol.

Jon Ran the compressor oil and trans seemed to be ok . Trans temp was 170 at its hottest point and the engine was 230 while we were on the 30 mile cruise. The cruise was a hott slow ride Almost stopped several times. The engine did cool off on the way back to around 180 and trans went down to 150.
