I just finished an A460 build...now 598. A460 heads and intake. Also A 460 block. Cam spec is 279-292 duration @.050 L/S is 112 lift is .852/.814
I'm an old mod motor guy for the last 15 years so I have lots to learn here but I'd like to know what you all think will be the minimum octane for this setup. I have some ideas but will share after I hear other input. If you need more info let me know. The C/R is suppose to be 12.5:1 but I believe it actually turned out more like 12:1. Made 968 on the engine dyno at 30 degrees

If its truly 12/1 you can get by on 110[i]

whats the cranking compression?
I just dynoed my 11.7 comp A460 headed 557 and it made 906 on 91 octane pumpgas..
