thinking winter
well its getting close to the season end an d thinking about the winter project. think im going to replace the v springs ago with ti retainer or is that overboard with a street strip car that goes to the track a few times a year.

Overboard probably a little but less weight in the valvetrain is always a good thing right.
Due to a trans failure my winter projects got an early start, I am installing a vacuum pump getting the intake ported that we didn't get done last year due to time constraints and buying a pair of Pro-Systems Dominators. Also gonna work on the weight.

Belt driven unit, the Morose 3 vane looks like it will get the nod. I think next year I should finally see what this thing is capable of. I got alot of problems fixed that held me back and working on the rest.

those electric smog pumps dont pull much vac at all, like 4-5" max.

the electric pumps work good to remove moisture from an alky motor but thats about it.

ive been running the same combo for 4 years i running 11.40s to 11.70s would like to run 11.20s to 11.50s. think its doable with a few tweets new tires taller going to have the valves cut back new valve springs remove swaybar on front if that not working ill spray a 25hp hit
