460 street/pull
This is my first built i want 500 to 550hp with a lot of torque at around 4,500 rpms. i have a 460 block bored 30 over.I want to use aluminum heads. Does anyone have any ideas what the best stroke, heads, cam, crank to use would be. this truck does not get driven much but i still want to run pump gas and pull in a stock class. Again its my first and thanks for any help or comments.

Re: 460 street/pull
You're goals sound a lot like mine. See my post on the TFS 290 heads.
Basically I think you will want/need a stroker kit (521 to 557 CID) to achieve the HP and TQ desired at a low enough rpm while keeping some street manners.
