Re: 25.1E double frame rail 80 notch
Chassis is back from Vanishing Point Race Cars all welded up with the pedals, and trans mount in. Now the fun begins! Hoping to have the metal and jig by new year so I can start building the rear. Pictures to follow after we get it back in the shop.

Man that looks great!!!! I see a clutch pedal hanging in there too. I only have one suggestion for safety....... the area at your foot pedals I would add a bar to protect your feet in case of a crash, something so your foot or feet don't end up hanging out of the car in the event of a crash.

Yes sir I see a clutch pedal also. Is that a G-force in the pic? What clutch do you plan to run? Steve

Good eye guys. Yes it is a G-Force GF2000 clutchless 5 speed, with a Bonifante single disc clutch. Need to pick up the fork for the bell and throw out bearing.

You will be happy with your Boninfante clutch. I also run a 10" single disc from Bononfante. The GF2000 is a good trans. What is your 1st gear ratio? You run 1/8 or 1/4. Steve

First gear is a 3.167. Only 1/8 mile I run is at US60 in KY. I ordered the throwout bearing, fork, and block for bell housing today. We have a Pro Stick series over here that run a bunch of races within 3 hours of me that I plan to run with.

The Pro Stick http://www.prostickracing.com/ Are a good bunch of racers. Not many run a BBF with a stick around here. Dang nice car your building, can't wait to see it run. With a 3.16 1st it will 60' good. I bet you have a 5.00 or 5.14 rear gear?

Re: 25.1E double frame rail 80 notch
Gear ratio will depend on how much tire I can get under the notch. With the Pro Stick guys there are a lot of Yates headed small blocks but I'm not sure of any big blocks. Once I get the car built and learn the clutch then I want to put a 600inch in it.
