Have you tried advancing timing while trying to start?,I work on my car alot by myself and alot of times ,and if the engines already in the car ,sometimes have to get out and give them alittle more timing and sometimes less to get em to fire up!,That is everything else being in order, getting plenty fire, being in time, and plenty of fuel, and compression of course!.I always pump the gas acouple times and keep it cracked open while adjusting timing, that should get ur done.Keep us posted, MavMan

Is the dizzy in right? 180* out?

Is the coil actually causing a spark?

Also wire the throttle wide open "bigjohn2007". If you have been giving it alot of fuel, I would spray a shot of wd40 in each of the cyclinders while the plugs are out, spin the engine over afew times ,and then check compression.don,t want to keep cranking on it if those cyclinders are dry from rawl fuel. What is the compression on all 8 ?,Also go back over the valves on the ones that are showing nothing, luck has nothing to do with it brother! Hopefully you,ll get it figured out without having to pull it out!MavMan

Are you talking water or oil? If it's oil, did you use the factory end gaskets or did you use just a bead of black silicone sealer? the best ways is to use a bead of the sealer across each end.
If it's water, your gaskets might have slipped, or your intake is not mating up to the heads right, or what brand of intake gaskets did you use?

Oil, and i ran a thick bead of the grey gasket maker across the front and back of the intake.
