Tranny shop said the band was shot , needed a new drum and the cluctches we're burned up. They feel the culprit was the valve body. I said I doubt that because I pulled that VB out of another tranny that was working perfect so I doubt it was that. But heres the issue. That tranny was supposed to have been fully rebuilt in the fall of 2011 and was my back up. The tranny in the race car only had 5 passes at most and there was hardly and crap in the bottom of the pan. If it was in that bad of shape that pan would have been full of residue.
My tranny guy is real bad with cancer so I can't go strangle him. Life goes on.
