That is true, and 46 years of R&D helps. Great vid, almost looked like a street race at first, when the were going under the bridge, esp., with the primer fender on the Chevelle.

Not really any VooDoo magic.
EVERYTHING in a Super Stock car is about making it faster; no frills and nothing extra.
A lot of endless hard work on the chassis, entire drivetrain & car in general, (because the engines in the lower classes are really good but, don't make as much power as you might think).
The combination is all working together to maximize every individual component ... that is Super Stock racing.
