Engine Masters question Empty Engine Masters question

Post  2Strokerguy December 27th 2013, 1:55 am

I was looking at the engine masters summaries and I notice that Jon Kasses 2 engines both have the same bore and stroke, is that a misprint or is the Boss motor built way under square. If it is correct it sure points out major low end power in the mod motor. Just something I found and was curious about.      JOHN

I'm not sure of the Boss 9 engine, I think the overhead cam engine was 3.7" bore and 4.70" or 4.75" stroke. I think the overhead cam deal was 409 CI.

Dave.

It was built to win the Fairview run what you brung shootout a few years back. It is a complete custom hanbuilt with only 3 stock parts on it. The motor is 2 cat 900s cut and welded together with PSI 98mm pistons for 1720 cc it also has two fogger nitrous systems on it.     JOHN
