Tired of hearing about the "FARM TRUCK".....on street outlaws...
is there anyone here who has a "street truck" which happens to be a FORD that can whip the "FARM TRUCK" off of Street Outlaws show?
just curious...
I would love to build a mild version but a FORD with a 429 or 460 big block...

Not gonna be hard to make the power, but definitely gonna be a challenge to harness it.

It may have started with a 502 crate motor, likely alot more now. That 10.21@128 pass he made was impressive. So whats his new bullet or is it secrete?

My truck has the ugly part down... But I'm about 150ci and 600ish hp short of where I'd want to be to try out running the farm truck... Oh and probably $20,000 short also lol.. Ya I can dream...I find humor in the show although I wish there were more ford powered fords on it.

I would have to flintstone it, because the motor is at Oakley's right now.

I think Wes`s ole black ford would be the one if he could hook it up on the street.

X2 There also used to be a guy named Pat on the forums that had had a 79 Bronco with a 598 in it that he drag raced. I think it ran low 10's high 9's.

The old Ranger went 9.27. I guess putting the headlights back in wouldn't slow it down much. Hooking it on the street would probably have a sphincter factor of 9.7, though.
...and it WOULD out-ugly the farm truck.

I believe Pats Bronco ran a 9.80 something at one point, that was still with the c-6. I haven't talked to him in a long time, wonder what he is up to?

I got head lights just need to run some power wire to them and put the bulbs in the tail lights and wire them I got the 3rd brake light wired for the track. But not sure what mine will run with the 552 with the glide and frontend changed out it might be fast enough but hooking on the street would be the big ?/problem

Yes weight distribution and power management would be very important... Doc proved that last episode with his new mountain motor in the Monte Carlo.... Varley is another one.. hope they can get his car working better... Since I think he is the only ford powered ford on the show... I'd think Wes or George's trucks would have enough cowbell to beat the farm truck but getting down the street would be interesting...
