It's not going to be "racecar", as I'm not sure the cage will certify.
Just going to be a "street" play toy... to start with...

DAMN, the blower is bigger than the engine! You know that car is going to need a cool name, race car or not.

Actually no, it's not..
That one is a fuel injected 5.0 Dad built for his other project, the 64 Ranchero, it's never been fired.
Freelander's engine is sitting just out of camera rage to the right of both of mine..

Re: Project CIII
Not much progress to report.. Been doing the bodywork on the '64 Ranchero...
Rotating assembly will go to machine shop in next 2 weeks.
Will get basic engine put together and run-in on the engine stand.
Then I'll finish / fab the blower drive.
Still have some front suspension things I need to work out..

Re: Project CIII
I have seen the little car in person it should be a wicked little ride for sure. Back about 30 years ago my ex sister in-law's brother had one that was orange with a 289 with a 4 speed in it that thing was a blast but he lost control one night and totaled it out in the rain. He could get on it at 60mph and it would light up the tires.

Been working on the Ranchero and RACING !!! Something you won't be doing much longer.
Might be a slight change in engine for car, could be using a blown cleveland ....
And the cookies were great.. too bad you didn't get any....
