gettn a 65 f100
Well I spoke to the little old lady about the f100 that she has for sale again and she said whatever I think its worth should be fine with her, so probably offer her around $400-$500 depending on what motor it has, personally Im hoping for the 300 I6. I might throw a 302 or possibly a 351 Cleveland (been wanting something to put one of my clevelands into too ) in there and use it as a stuff hauler/parts getter.

That is awesome. I had a 63 Mercury short box and have a soft spot for that body style.

I think its a pretty nice looking truck too, I really dig the big ol speedomoter in the middle of the dash too. Its got the tool box built into the side of the bed which is another bonus, especially for what Ill be using it for. Any tips on mounting anchoring points in the bed for an engine stand? I want to be able to haul stuff to and from the machine shop without it sliding all over the place while Im driving. Also what about seatbelts? Id like to have a modern lap/shoulder belt for safetys sake.

maybe the lap/shoulder assembly from a 76 ish ford truck would work? my seatbelts where missing in my 65 and a set from a 1974 (lap only) easily adapted. if you are a fan of modernising for safety sake, the disk brake i beams off of a 73-79 will bolt up as well.
