should head gaskets be retorked?
i have a few passes on it now and was wondering if I should?block is O ringed .060 copper gasket with 7.3 gasket sealer torked @140lbs.if so im not looking forward to it.........

Manufacturers say it is not necessary but, head gaskets will seal better and last longer if they are re-torqued ... one fastener at a time following in the normal torque sequence. Back each fastener off 1/4 turn and re-torque it to whatever it is supposed to be ... One fastener at a time in order.

Do your heads have a receiver groove? If not you'll be damn lucky it dont leak.

yes,reciever grooves on board and in the correct place this time lol..............

Good idea on most applications..... Required on some.
