I was always told that the line on the electrode is your "Timing" mark. Does the timing have any impact on heat range??
I need to get my car out for a good rip and check the plugs, too much cruising around town lately!!

Nick: And if the porcelain has small flecks of aluminum on them, what does that tell you about your NOS tune?

Can't be good! I found a little of that on my last passes with the Torino after knocking the N2O fuel pressure down another 1/4 lb on the 200 shot.
Looks like I might go back up a 1/4 lb! LOL.....
Anyway, how close are you to melting electrodes when you start to see a little flecking on the plugs?
