SS headers for 1960 F100
Hi guys, Someone put a 460 in my 1960 F100 and I am considering the shorty headers sold on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/429-460-Ford-Headers-Stainless-Steel-Block-Huggers-FREE-SHIPPING-USA-/331342507167?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d258d6c9f&vxp=mtr
I see they are made in China. Are these any good? thanks

Imo, that would be a good choice at that price for a street driven truck.

FYI
I just finished having stress cracks welded on my Stainless Steel UTV headers. I have decided that from now on I will only use mild steel headers either nitro plate coated or ceramic coated.
I went with mild steel fender well exit headers for my 1984, F150 and plan to have them nitro plated or Jet-Hot. I just thought I might give you a little heads up about the stainless headers. Stainless is bad to work harden and crack. Especially if it's put under any type of binding vibrations. So if you do decide to go with stainless you might want to invest in adding a flex connector and rubber hangers.
I deal with a lot of Stainless Steel material everyday with my job and I actually seen something I haven't seen before. I witnessed Stainless Steel rust in less than 8 hours on the job site. I used import stainless thinking that I wouldn't have any problems as it wasn't a "buy American act" job. Where I have never seen Domestic Stainless do something like that. The "import" Stainless structural steels just isn't held to high standard.
