A460 hEADS

I know alot has been said about these heads, but who has the best CNC Ported heads out the box. Does anybody have any weight and times to prove there thoughts on the issue. Or even hand ports if somebody is making some good numbers. How much did you pay?

I plan on sending him a set of heads and intake within a few months. I have never heard of anyone complaining about his work. He is also very generous with his information about these engines and I don't mind supporting someone like that.
While your at it, pick up a cam from Charlie or Lem. They have taken all the guess work out of it.

Another vote for Charlie Evans doing your heads, any head for that matter. He did my a460's back in 2004 and also my tunnel ram. Knowing that Charlie is not one for sitting on his laurels, I'm sure he has made some significant strides since then.

There is an old post someplace where Charlie redid a set of hemi heads I think that were done supposedly to the max, and he made massive performance increases on them.
Somebody has the link I am sure.

Steve you are dead on about Charlie. I was at Charlie's house a few weeks ago w/pulling truck friend of mine.Charlie was in a time schedule w/a set of heads for a customer. Charlie went to the file cabinet and layed down 2 piles of folders. 1 w/EX514 porting jobs, and the other w/A460 jobs. He said boy's there they are, both of your jobs are in those piles, so look all you want .How many guy's will do that? Charlie is a straight shooter. He will treat you so many ways, you'll have to like one of them. I think Charlie advertises his flows w/o pipe, and most of the ones you see will show you the #'s w/pipe, which will be higher.
